Randall C. Stufflebeam

Personal

I was born May 27, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois to Ted and Carol Stufflebeam. I grew up in the small town of Canton, Illinois. I am the firstborn in a family with six children, all boys.

From 1963 to 1967, we lived in a trailer on my grandparent's property in Canton.  I attended the McCall Elementary School at that time.  Then in 1967, my parents bought a home on Maple Street, where I attended 2nd through 4th grade at the Anderson School (It was leveled many years ago and a small park is there).  Anderson School had four classrooms, two on the first floor and two on the second floor.  1st and 2nd were on the first two floors and 3rd and 4th were on the third floor.  I attended the Isaac Swann school (named after the founder of Canton, IL) for 5th and 6th Grade.  I attended the Canton Jr. High for 7th - 9th grades and attended the Canton High School for 10th & 11th grades.  Then my parents took us boys out of the public school system and put us in a "Christian School" that our church had created and was using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.  After graduation, went to Olivet Nazarene University (at the time, it was college status) in the fall of 1979.

I spent one semester in college before deciding to join the United States Marine Corps. For information on my military service, click on the "United States Marine Corps Emblem."
